I literally have dreams about this burrito. California burritos are no joke and this might be the quintessential one that I have to get every single time I'm in San Francisco. Everything is so delicious and flavorful- I usually get the supreme carne asada and it's just the perfect portion of beans, protein, guac etc. it is especially delicious when paired with their strawberry Agua Fresca.
The inside is a bit of a mess hall and it is chaotic, but it is totally worth it for how delicious their burritos are. they also changed the format where you order outside before you go in to eat. It's not a great place to meet up with friends because there is a constant rotation of people wanting to sit down and eat so you usually feel very rushed, but this is definitely one of my top food recommendations for San Francisco and a must visit.

The quality of the meat here is fantastic. I loved their CABEZA and CARNE ASADA tacos! I have tried at least 4 other taco spots in the bay and nothing is quite like LA tacos, but these sure were delicious and I'm glad I came here. They were a bit pricier, but they were also much larger! I'd definitely come again if I was in the area.

Tried mission style burrito for the first time! It was a good burrito and I'm glad they have so many veggie options! I got the veggie burrito el dorado style (which I highly recommend since it's so toasted). We also got their chips with avocado and pico de gallo, which was just okay and needed salt. There was a line as expected but it moves pretty quick! Their agua frescas are also very refreshing but a bit too sweet for my liking. Overall a good place but not sure if it is as unique as I expected.

Our go to place for over 20 years! This place is so delicious. When I fly into town I always come here to get delicious Mexican food. Don't be fooled by the long lines. Food always comes out quickly and if you do wait it's worth the wait. They also serve wonderful vegetarian dishes. It's a great place if you come solo or with the family. Staff is so helpful. Pricing is perfect.

Omg I use to think all burrito's are all the same...wrongyou know a place is good to you when you want to visit more then twice a day so if or when you visit just remember there may. E a line to eat in or to place your order.just remover the satisfaction you going to have eating something from there.

Absolutely iconic Mexican spot in SF! If you're looking for authentic & delicious burritos in Mission, this (along with El Farolito) is a must try. The biggest different between these burritos and the El Farolito burritos is that the ones here don't have rice, so the filling is much more creamy and rich! No rice to soak up all that sauce and saltiness. If that's what you prefer, you definitely need to come here.

Get the super burrito, and then ask for dorado style. They'll grill it up for you so that the outside is really nicely crispy and golden. So delicious. The burrito had a nice mix of fresh and salty elements -- love the addition of avocado and sour cream with fresh tomatoes and perfectly grilled meat. It's a huge burrito so you'll definitely be very satisfied! Also it gets soo messy. Be ready with the paper towels nearby.

If you go in person, there will definitely be a massive wait and line out the door. It's worth it though. You'll order at the front entrance and then go inside to wait for your food (they'll call out your number when it's ready). Seating inside can also be very chaotic and hard to find since it's pretty limited and gets crowded quick. The food comes out really quick!

I will say that the price did surprise me though. I think I paid almost $15 for my super burrito.

Definitely check this place out if you're in need of a good burrito :)

Burritos are YUMMY! NomNomNom. These are No rice burritos (usually prefer rice) but still very delicious and worth a try. The line can get long but the staff moves quick and is worth the wait.

The reviews tell it all. Probably the best mexican food of all time! Service is rushed because of all the orders, never ate here because there it too much going on.
